MP3 to MIDI converting

Hi all ,

i have small doubt,

is it possible to convert MP3/wav or any audio file to convert to Midi file. if this is possible to how to achieve this?

Please suggest me some tips or software to do this.

This question comes up from time to time.  The answer is NO.

Software that claims to do this with a piano solo cannot get even reasonable results.

some where i read that Midi can be converted to MP3 so thought why reverse wont work. if that works we could made many new things in music.

Right... it would be nice...

But MIDI is like the recipe to the meal...  / music
If you follow the the recipe you will get a meal   / some music

This proces can not run backwards. At least not properly.
