Memory freeze

I just got a new psr 970.  Can't find any mention in the owners manual of memory freeze.  Can someone tell me how it is to used.

This is clearly described in the section 'Disabling Recall of Specific Items (Freeze)' on page 84 of the 'PSR-S970 Reference Manual'.

However, unlike the 'Owner's Manual', the Reference Manual is not supplied in hard copy form with the keyboard.

Instead you must download it as a .PDF file from the PSR-S970 Downloads page on your local Yamaha web site.  It is well worth having a copy and being in PDF form means that you can search for keywords when you are looking for something.

Press the Freeze Button and Direct access. Now put a tick in all the things you want to be held when using it.
