Clavinova Registrations
« on: March 04, 2016, 06:46:40 AM »
A friend of mine has a Clavinova CVP 709 and wants to play at our local keyboard club where we have a Clavinova CVP 409.   I wonder if anyone knows of a programme which will convert CVP 709 registrations so that they can be used on the CVP 409.   Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Murray Best's registration manager program is your best bet. With it, you should be able to do the job in a jiffy.

Both the CVP 409 and 709 are not supported by Murray's Registration Manager. Could be though that the CVP709 uses the same format as for example the S970 or T5 and the 409 that of an older supported Tyros or PSR keyboards? But even if that works you will have some missing voices and/or styles for preset not on the used substation keyboard.
