Seriously, what's a "summary message?"

And, where is "la la land" where you saw Cluckina?

Friend,

Dennis

No guffaws intended (just accidental)

Dennis,

At bottom of FORUM MAIN screen is a listing of
"TODAY" messages, and if not too many today some of previous days.

There was a message someone posted that I forgot and wanted to
peruse this "Summary".

Some forums allow you to go back 1 day, 2 days, etc.... didnt notice this.

Of course the information could be in a Waffle Sandwish

Seeker, I see now what you mean by the "summary" - that list at the bottom of the Home Page - yes, I go there also to 'catch up" and wondered where previous ones dissolve into.  I KNOW they are in memory somewhere because the "Search Engine" can retrieve parts of them.

You told me you think you saw Cluckina INSIDE a chicken waffle sandwich - but, I guess you know by now I heard from her re: her sorrow and hurting me.  I already "deep fried" a likeness of her in efigy - and, after Miss Piggy Patsy farted at me as I walked by her new mud puddle (went to the neighbor's to romance now) I bought a slab of bacon and fried her a... in efigy.

So, now Cluckina wants me back - (Fredrika couldn't handle a young, cute chick! - ruined by Freddie, I imagine)

Hope we find our old "Classics" in there somewhere.

Dennis

Ohhh! A poem in here somewhere:

We sought for words we used to write,
Alas, our words oft come back to bite.
I said, "Dear Lover, I want you BADLY!"
She said, "Oh sad one, that''s HOW you loved me!"

I moaned and groaned, and said, "My dearest,
You've said your mind - quite the clearest.
I've notice also, tho' from your rude INtrusions'
The Northern winters freezes  ALL exposed Extrusions."

She laughed and said,  I love you and want  you back,
Your pouts and shouts and that "sad, sad sack"
The winter freeze-up is not snow - at all.
It started  way back - in early Fall.

From me, "Oh dearest, dear one, I see the sun,
For with spring comes much fun!
Like roses in April, and sunflowers in June,
I sense that I too will rise and bloom."

She responds, "Oh my grand and glorious lover,
Your words are so much dribble,
For with the heat and Baseball  beer
Your blossums again will up and shrivel. "

Seeker,

I wish I knew how to look at yesterday's messages as well. I've tried, but nothing but frustration results.
The search function wants some word to search on and all you will get is messages with that word or letter.

Lucky for me I read all everyday, but if I'm out a day I have to go to each subject area.

Joe - what about this? HELP! :?

Those posts that show at the bottom are something that I can control.  It was set to Today's posts up to a maximum of 40.  I have reset it to Today's and Yesterday's and moved the maximum to 80.  If you look there now, you will see the expanded "recent" summary posts.  (To get there, click on the HOME button above and then scroll to the bottom of the page.)

I also noticed at the bottom a link that would show you a "summary" of the 10 most recent posts.  Give that a try.  Maybe that 10 limit can also be changed.  I suspect that this is what the "News" summary option looks like.  Still learning on that one.  I saw a number of utilities to download at James' site but I was at work and couldn't download there.  Maybe I'll go back now and get one or more of those to see what this RSS is all about.

Joe,

Thanks for the upgrade. There have been a few times when I was trying to go back and retrieve a earlier post and couldn't find it.
This change should help a lot.
