Music Finder
« on: August 13, 2014, 05:23:03 AM »
When I bought this keyboard fourteen years ago, (yes that long but it still works fine, I don't use half the facilities, I just play it)
The "Music Finder" gave you registrations for a few hundred tune titles. Not that I use them much.
Shortly after I bought it the music shop phoned me up and told me they'd another (free) disk with more registrations for me.
When I put it into the keyboard, it didn't add any more, but changed all the "proper"  titles in the memory to stupid ones, like,
"Bossa Nova Out of Tune," "Argentina Cry" etc.,
I guess this was because of fear of copyright infringement, though they were only registrations.
It is difficult to work out what a lot of them are supposed to be.
Factory re-set doesn't change them back.

Anyone know if it's possible to put it back as it was?

Thanks.

The fix is to replace the music finder with one that has the correct names.

You can find several PSR-2000 music finders here: http://psrtutorial.com/sty/OF/musicfinder.html
