Deleting New Posts
« on: November 03, 2005, 08:27:46 AM »
Hi! Joe,

Every now and then there are times I don't want to read and delete to just narrow down the list of unread posts - some are topics I am not interested in.

is there a way to check unread posts to delete more than one at one time?

I usually read them all, but at times I don't want to read about instruments or topics of no interest.

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi!

I most often go to "Show unread posts since last visit" or just have a quick glimpse at the new ones at the bottom of the first page. Simple and fast, as there aren't a zillion new posts each time I log on. Some very busy forums are a different story but in here you get some...errr... 20-30 posts a day? That shouldn't be unmanageable.

Another reply off topic probably... But will add to my posts count.

Regards,
Kawai

Kawai,

That was the laugh I needed for this day.  Yes, keep adding a word here and a word there - soon you'll be like me - up to a zillion posts - and I HAVEN'T SAID ANYTHING WORTH READING - EXCEPT MY POEM "MOUNTAIN DO DO" - now, that was real literature - well, it was real "mountain writing", eh? (chuckle)

See, I just added one to my posts (chuckle)
