Combining variation from different styles
« on: December 16, 2012, 08:42:09 AM »
I would like to import a variation from another style and place it instead of a variation I don't want from my current style. Is this possible with PSR2000 ? I would also like to move the variations of some styles, for ex move Var1 from '1' to Var2 ?

I did go into the style editing section and did see some copy option, but would just like to know if that's possibles I can explore further. Thanks.

Yes you can do this. Yamaha refer to it as Style Assembly.

Have a look at the section 'Assembling an Accompaniment Style —Assembly' on page 112 of the PSR2000 Owner's Manual.

It seems a bit fiddly at first, but you soon get used to it.

I have the 'A' arabic version of psr2000 (PSR-A2000). Does that still apply ? I'm looking and can't find a way import let alone load another style's variation.

PSR2000 and A2000, are they the same keyboard with the exception that the A has the quarter tone keys on the side, correct ?

The PSR-2000 and the PSR-A2000 are completely different.  The PSR-2000 was introduced in 2001, and the A2000 in 2011.

However your A2000 can do style assembly.  The section 'Style Assembly' starting on page 123 of the A2000 Owner's Manual gives the details.
