Default Start-Up State
« on: October 24, 2012, 12:42:40 PM »
In the past when I turned on my P2K, the Accompaniment On/Off, Main A, OTS Link, Start/Stop, and  OTS 1 functions came up ON.
This morning when I turned it on those functions all came up OFF. Everything else (Style, Song, Registration Bank, Multi-Pad, etc.) cames up as they have since Day 1. I turned the keyboard off and on a few more times but those functions still came up OFF.

So I went to Function > Utility > System Reset > to have a look. I pushed System Setup [F], then SystemSetupP~ [A] and read the message "Selecting [YES]...replaces all system setup data with this file. Are you sure you want to continue?"

I didn't want to reset anything so I pressed [Exit] 4 times which brought me back to the beginning. It also turned the aforementioned functions ON, and now when I turn the keyboard off and back on everything is back to normal. I didn't do anything that I know of that would reset any function so I don't know what "fixed" my problem.

Any ideas?

operating system error, a software error which corrected itself.
