CD for beginers
« on: January 13, 2012, 04:52:12 AM »
Being new to Yamaha keyboards are there any CD s that teach how to set up and use the keyboards? Reading posts is ok but a step by step cd would be a great tool for beginers like me.
              Thank You

Try the Lessons section on this site.  I find it very easy to follow.  Flip

Shadow,

You can also buy a CD that has all the lessons on it if you don't want to be on-line to every time you want to look something.

Shadow,

Most of the late model PSR and Tyros keyboards function in exactly the same manner for playing styles and multi-pads, and editing styles, multi-pads and voices, using the mixing console, setting-up keyboard configurations, saving files. etc.  The Tyros boards have a few more features, and the older boards may have some different Panel button arrangements.

Have you taken a look at the free lessons on the PSR Tutorial main website?  Here's the link:

  http://psrtutorial.com/lessons/index.html

These are the same lessons you can get on the CD. Yes they are free on the website, but when you buy a CD, you help support the PSR Tutorial website operating costs, and have the convenience of viewing the lesson offline.

Cheers,
Joe H
